We opened our doors to all on Sunday, June 7. We started with our Annual Meeting with our Board members at 1:00. Traci (director), John (farm manager), and Fiona (education and outreach manager) gave us reports on what we’ve accomplished in the last year (you can take a peek at our annual report for a look back).

After the meeting we welcomed visitors, friends and family to see the farm up close! We had staff stationed throughout to answer questions and give folks a behind the scenes look. We were also incredibly pleased to welcome so many people that have sponsored a tree in our Edible Windbreak. So many people sponsored these trees in honor of those they loved and many who are now gone. Reportedly there were a few teary moments out there as people saw the tags on their trees with the names and message they had left. It means a lot that you have trusted us with this and that it ties the community to us even more. We really are honored and those trees will benefit the farm and eventually their harvests will find their way to those in need. Thanks to all that have taken part and visited.
