Garden Maintenance: Pests, Diseases, and Weeds

It’s July. We’re in the middle of the summer growing season, and you might feel like you’re in the weeds in your garden. Literally. Summertime tends to deliver the ideal conditions for pests, diseases, and weeds to take over your growing space. Before you reach for different sprays in the herbicide aisle at the store, let’s take a step back and hear from gardening experts on Sola Gratia Farm’s Outreach/Education team to learn about how to prevent, ID, and naturally treat these sorts of problems in our garden so that we can enjoy bountiful harvests year after year.

Registration is required. The cost of this workshop is $5, though scholarships are available for anyone who needs one. Email scholarship requests to info@solagratiacsa.com - All are welcome!

This workshop will take place outdoors at The Community Classroom at Sola Gratia Farm. It is strongly recommended to wear closed-toed shoes and sun protection. Standing and walking on potentially uneven surfaces is standard at our workshop series, so please reach out to us with any mobility concerns and we will do everything we can do accommodate you!

Some pests and diseases we will cover in the workshop include:
